Zeldis was commissioned by a major provider of charter and online schools to conduct a market assessment study in several states. Online qualitative research (bulletin board focus groups) were combined with quantitative research to understand parents’ educational needs, gauge reaction to online schools, and evaluate marketing materials.
A leading provider of school-based data solutions commissioned Zeldis Research to conduct a qualitative study among senior administrators (both customers and prospects) to determine their understanding, experience, needs, and goals regarding the acquisition of an Instructional Management System.
A total of 35 in–depth interviews were conducted with superintendents, assessment/accountability administrators, and technology administrators.
Zeldis Research was commissioned by a financial services/insurance firm to conduct a high-profile quantitative research study for public release among parents of children in danger of dropping out of high school.
Telephone interviews were conducted with a nationally representative sample of parents; topics included the fears, emotions, and concerns these parents face.
A major publisher commissioned Zeldis to conduct a quantitative needs assessment among K-6 teachers and supervisors for its reading program. The primary objective was to determine the needs and preferences of teachers and supervisors for a reading/language arts program.
Mail questionnaires were completed by Grade 1-6 teachers, supervisors, and kindergarten teachers nationwide with oversamples in California, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and New Jersey. In addition, teleconferences were conducted with teachers using competitive products in Florida, Texas, and California, to determine key likes, dislikes, and unmet needs among competitive users.
A major publisher of textbooks and educational materials commissioned Zeldis Research to conduct a quantitative evaluation of its intervention products for math. Questionnaires were mailed to classroom teachers, math specialists, and district-level personnel in selected markets to understand their needs and product use with students requiring intervention.
